Software Development Intern

Support BORIZENT in designing, building, testing and improving websites, applications, platforms and other digital products while gaining practical software-development experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and improve frontend, backend, web or mobile features
  • Translate approved designs and requirements into working software
  • Build and integrate APIs, databases and third-party services
  • Write readable, reusable and maintainable code
  • Test, debug and resolve software issues
  • Use Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration
  • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
  • Document implemented features and development decisions
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA and DevOps
  • Follow security, accessibility and performance best practices

Requirements

  • Interest in software development and digital products
  • Basic experience in at least one area: frontend, backend, web or mobile development
  • Knowledge of at least one programming language or framework
  • Familiarity with technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, Python, PHP, Java, Flutter or similar
  • Basic understanding of APIs, databases and version control
  • Experience using Git and GitHub is helpful
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and work collaboratively
  • A GitHub profile, portfolio or relevant project is preferred
